At Sentinel Iraq Security Services, we are committed to preventing and addressing all forms of sexual exploitation and abuse. We have a zero-tolerance policy for any employee or contractor who engages in sexual exploitation and abuse. We recognize the devastating impact of these behaviors on individuals and communities, and we are committed to upholding the highest standards of conduct.

Our Sexual Exploitation and Abuse Policy outlines the following:

Definitions

We define sexual exploitation and abuse as any actual or attempted abuse of power or trust, for sexual purposes, including but not limited to sexual harassment, sexual assault, and sexual activity.

Prohibited Conduct

Sexual exploitation and abuse are strictly prohibited by all employees of Sentinel Iraq Security Services, both on and off-duty. This includes engaging in any sexual activity with a client, community member, or any other person who is vulnerable to exploitation or abuse.

Reporting and Investigation

Any employee or contractor who has witnessed or experienced sexual exploitation and abuse is encouraged to report the incident to their supervisor, the Human Resources department, or a member of the senior management team. All reports will be taken seriously and investigated promptly.

Confidentiality

All reports of sexual exploitation and abuse will be treated with the utmost confidentiality. We understand the importance of protecting the privacy of those involved in the investigation.

Non-Retaliation

Retaliation against an individual who has reported sexual exploitation and abuse, or who has cooperated in an investigation, is strictly prohibited. Any form of retaliation will result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

Prevention

We provide regular training for all employees and contractors on our Sexual Exploitation and Abuse Policy, including how to recognize and report sexual exploitation and abuse. We also have strict screening procedures in place to prevent the hiring of individuals with a history of sexual misconduct.
